Presentation & Biography

Marco Santos is a self-taught Portuguese-Spanish plastic artist. When he was very young, he painted pictures of his surroundings and his favorite fictional characters. For the movie and comic book lover, especially noted for the cultural movements of the 80s and 90s, he always drew a way to visualize what particularly attracted his attention, it was always a way of communication and a channel of expression as indicated by his imagination.

His works (oil and acrylic) are very diverse, from topics about everyday realities that are part of our daily life through social criticism, reflecting some of the injustices that surround us, to the problems of pop culture, how the union between reality and fiction is used for this cinema and comic characters.
