For me, family is, above all, a safe haven. Within my family, I want to be myself, without the pressure of trying to be someone I am not. My family is my home, so no matter where I move, I know that if my family is with me, I can count on their support, comfort, and care. And I am always ready to offer the same to every family member.
My parents couldn't provide me with a sense of security, love, and acceptance. So now, as an adult, I am building my own family, where love and safety (both physical and mental) are the foundational pillars. My family is my pack.
'Island of Safety' is about this very concept.
