Have you seen the star Sun, I ask you... Yes, of course, you answer. But have you seen thousands and thousands of suns on earth? And each of you his own imagination will create a lot of images... Someone may imagine light bulbs or chandeliers, someone - then dandelions in the field, someone - then lights along the embankment..... And I hugged sunflowers... No, not those ripe ones, with black oily seeds, already scratching my skin with their lint... those that just - just blossomed and gave life and hope to little grains.... Those sunflowers, still with green fluffy middle, soft, if you drown your face in bright juicy mind-bogglingly - yellow petals and breathe in the aroma of life, which makes you dizzy, fills your chest with lightness and joy and light tears slightly pinch your eyes.....

Everyone has his own images, flavors of life and meanings.

Sunflowers #17278

The meaning of life and creativity of Irina Sokolova is to make life more joyful, to write with love. The painting "Sunflower", painted in a realistic manner in watercolor, penetrates into the soul generously and without a trace. The artist works masterfully with the mixing of light and shadow, sets clear rapper points and denies the boundaries of the impossible.

Certified artist, including international competitions: - Michelangelo's Brush" (Italy); - "Aquarelium" international competition of watercolor art Irina Sokolova wrote her artwork in 2024 and has already managed to turn the minds of many.

It is known that the sunflower is "a symbol of the sun, joy, optimism, prosperity, well-being, success", but closer to the picture itself, in my opinion, is the version that the flower represents human aspirations and the desire for happiness, for life, for the infinite light in oneself. According to ancient legends, the gods gave people the sunflower so that the sun never left them, so that even in the darkest and most terrible moments of life each of us knew that through the gloom of loss, pain, failure will break through the bright sunshine of life, light and warmth. For surely everyone knows that the sunflower constantly turns its face to the sun, as if it is nourished by the common divine light, filled with it....

The joy of the sun. #17942

Let's turn to the Internet. "Sunflower (Sunflower) - a herbaceous plant of the family of asteraceae. Got its name because of its resemblance to the sun. Sunflower with the scientific name Helianthus annuus - is considered one of the most colorful and valuable plants, both for the spectacular flower and for the sunflower oil and sunflower seeds it produces. It grows up to 4 meters in height and has a powerful root system penetrating to a depth of 150-300 cm, which allows it to use the moisture of deep layers." And most importantly, of course, it likes fertile fertile soil, but it can and does grow on almost any soil, including poor and dry ones.

Sunflower #21430

And now let us turn our eyes to the painting..... A lone sunflower in a stone bowl of dirty gray, above it, in front of it gloomy, chilling shades of black. They sizzle, seethe, seek to engulf, and lose.... create the very backup for the head-twirling yellow lines of the soft curve of the petals of the beautiful flower. In the core of the sunflower is the green of life, which is always flowing even on the thread of moral or physical death in each of us. The green of life and in the strokes of the leaves of the flower, not with such a pronounced accent, but as if this is how the artist is trying to show support for the flower and even more to express its light and infinite warmth. And on the right, behind the flower in the bowl, there are no longer such black and gray shades. Here they are white, pure and transparent tones of the alluring afterlife....

Have you ever thought that there is a sunflower in every woman? .... Every woman is a little bit of a sunflower.... We will grow in a stone bowl, give birth to hope in everyone, give life, cope with the darkness, let the burning and sorrowful rays through ourselves, and remain always tender and strong, tearing the soul, all the darkness and turn it into light. And most importantly, we will continue to be that bright sunny star, giving the all-embracing light ...

This is what Irina Sokolova's painting pierces our mind, our soul and our heart.

Otherwise, how can you make life more joyful?
