Igor Makarov (born in 1944) is a Soviet cartoonist with a wide variety of artworks, which are talented, light, elegant and funny. Makarov does not try to denounce vices, does not fall into blackness, he just laughs at our life and its various phenomena, reasoning that the problems and circumstances that can not be solved, it remains only to treat with humor and find something good in them. His approach, by the way, is very sensible, which is probably why his cartoons, despite not always the funniest topics, always look pleasant and bring a smile.

Makarov has been in cartooning for a very long time - since the 1970s. After graduating from the Stroganov Art College, he began to work on our television artist-director of various musical programs.
