When creating this work, I wanted to capture that fine line where reality turns into memory. I wanted to create not just an image, but something that would evoke in the viewer a tender feeling of a blooming, but passing summer. In the center are bright red strokes of mallow, calling and at the same time reminding that beauty is so fleeting. Blurred contours create a feeling of a light wind and movement, and warm light preserves an imprint of tenderness and romance in the soul. I hope that it will evoke the same feelings in someone and will become a wonderful addition to the interior of a person who loves impressionism and the philosophy of wabi-sabi.
