Buzzards represent an opportunistic species of large raptor, characterized by their hawk-like morphology, expansive wingspan, and rounded caudal appendage; they are frequently observed gliding in expansive circles. While they exhibit a preference for roosting and nesting within forested environments, their hunting activities predominantly occur in open landscapes.

Buzzards typically construct substantial nests within woodland habitats. The composition of these nests primarily consists of twigs and branches, which are subsequently lined with moss and various green materials. Generally, two to three ova are deposited, with incubation culminating after approximately 35 days. The juvenile birds achieve fledging after an estimated two months; however, they may continue to receive sustenance from their progenitors for additional weeks.

Buzzards are known to engage in monogamous pair bonding for life, with mated pairs vigorously defending their territorial boundaries against any potential intruders. In the early spring season, male buzzards perform elaborate aerial displays in an effort to attract and impress prospective mates.

Buzzards can survive in most habitats, including woodland, farmland and moorland. They may even be seen in urban areas where there is sufficient green space.
the buzzards gaze here implies the semiotic adaptability of transformation hope and rebirth. the artist also utilizes a sort of creative license by exaggerating the the gracefulness of the feathers that makes up the wings of the bird thereby impacting the dynamic flow of the composition reminiscent of freedom and hope as radiant light can be seen permeating through the death of hope into a renewal of hope.
