Sensual paintings by hyperrealist artist Anna Marinova that are much more than ordinary photographs.

Anna Marinova (1983 - present) is a Russian artist who paints pictures in the style of hyperrealism, which attract many lovers of painting with their impeccable technique, beauty and a slight touch of eroticism. It is no coincidence that the lion's share of her paintings are portraits of pretty young girls in the nude genre, but at the same time, despite the hyperrealism, they are very different from similar photos in men's magazines.

Light from the window

It is more of an admiration for the beauty of the female body, looking at it not from the side of a man, but a woman who knows exactly how to look as attractive as possible, but at the same time not vulgar. However, despite the extreme detailing, Marinova's paintings do not reflect one-to-one reality like photographs. They represent the author's view of beauty using a number of techniques that allow this beauty to be presented in the most attractive way.

White dreams

Marinova often embellishes her models, as portraitists of the past or pin-up artists in the United States, such as Gil Elvgren, have done before her, that is, she adds her own ideas of beauty to the existing reality. In some ways, her paintings resemble Instagram pictures posted by professional photographers after thorough photoshop processing.

Julia

Like all hyperrealist works, Marinova's paintings are not characterized by a complex plot, but there is a certain elusive mystery in them, which makes them even more intriguing. She often focuses on some striking detail: a piece of clothing or jewelry, sometimes even naming the painting after it.

Winter morning

The artist focused on a win-win theme - nudes of pretty girls, and her skill level is high enough for her paintings to cause genuine admiration for their impeccable technique. But one nude Marinova's work is not limited to - there are still lifes with flowers and charming portraits of girls in her asset.

Young ballerina

Marinova generally prefers to depict everything only beautiful, reasonably believing that ugly enough in ordinary life and do not need to bring it into the painting, unless the task is not to reflect any social message.

White roses

Marinova is originally from St. Petersburg. Since childhood, she loved drawing and already knew for sure that she wanted to be an artist. From the age of six, she went to various art studios, and then entered the Children's Art School. At the age of 14 she received an invitation to Sweden as the winner of a drawing competition based on the works of Astrid Lindgren, and even more strengthened in her intention to become a real artist. Then she studied at the Repin Institute and participated in all kinds of exhibitions and competitions.

Two nudes

Gradually formed her unique creative style, and the choice as the main genre of nudes was explained by quite practical considerations - such paintings were better sold, and for them you can get serious money.

A premonition of spring

When she was still studying at the institute, her nude painting was sold at Christie's auction in London, which determined the artist's creative destiny. However, Marinova herself believes that creating something beautiful is no less important than being in a constant creative search for her style, which is still unknown how it will be perceived by the audience.

Rest time

After all, her paintings are truly beautiful and pleasing to the eye, bring positive emotions - and isn't that the main task of painting?
